Connecting smart villages with towns, district centres and markets
Activities:
- Construction and or upgrading roads that lead and connect to the towns/rural growth centers for easy access to markets, banks and information
- Rehabilitation mechanism for each road constructed in a sustainable manner i.e. link to the rural infrastructure program for roads, or national roads authority.
- Lobby for budget allocation at district council level for roads maintenance and construction.
- Link with other Government programs such as the social cash transfer and self-help initiative
